ലോകത്ത് ആദ്യമായിട്ടാണ് ഫ്രാന്‍സിസ് മാര്‍പാപ്പയുടെ പേരില്‍ ഒരു വെബ്‌സൈറ്റ് തുടങ്ങുന്നത്. അത് മലയാളത്തിന് സ്വന്തം.  മാര്‍പാപ്പയുടെ പ്രഭാഷണങ്ങളും പരിപാടികളും അതതു ദിവസംതന്നെ മലയാളത്തില്‍ ഈ വെബ്‌സൈറ്റില്‍ ലഭിക്കും. വെബ്‌സൈറ്റില്‍ മാര്‍പാപ്പയുടെ ജീവചരിത്രം, ചാക്രിക ലേഖനങ്ങള്‍, അപ്പോസ്‌തോലിക പ്രബോധനങ്ങള്‍, മറ്റു ഭാഷയില്‍ നല്‍കുന്ന അഭിമുഖങ്ങള്‍, പ്രസംഗങ്ങള്‍, ഹൃദയസ്പര്‍ശിയായ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ എന്നിവ ലഭ്യമാകും.

News: And now, Pope Francis has a website in Malayalam. Malayalam versions of the Pope’s speeches, encyclicals, discourses and messages will be uploaded on http://www.marpapa.com.

Cardinal Mar Baselios Cleemis of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church launched the site at the Sarvodaya School here on Sunday.

He said that Pope Francis was a gift of God to mankind. Minister of State for Human Resources Shashi Tharoor said that the current Pope will be ranked amongst the most influential figures of our times.

The website was designed by Rev Jacob Naluparayil, editor of Karunikan Publications under the Missionaries of the Blessed Sacrament.

The website will be maintained by Karunikan Publications and the Thiruvananthapuram Major Archdiocese.

Fr Bovas Mathew, Dr Jacob Naluparayil MCBS were also present at the function.
