പ്രാർത്ഥനയുടെ മാഹാത്മ്യം പഠിപ്പിച്ച ക്യാപ്ടന്‍ രാജു മലയാള സിനിമയില്‍ സുവര്‍ണ്ണതാരമായി തിളങ്ങിനിന്ന ക്യാപ്ടന്‍ രാജു വിടവാങ്ങി. നാം അദേഹത്തിന്റെ കഥാപാത്രങ്ങള്‍ മാത്രമേ അടുത്തു കണ്ടിട്ടുള്ളൂ. യഥാര്‍ത്ഥത്തില്‍ പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനയില്‍ അഭയം തേടിയിരുന്ന അദേഹം തന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിലുണ്ടായ എല്ലാ നല്ല അനുഭവങ്ങള്‍ക്കും ദൈവത്തിന് നന്ദി പറയുമായിരുന്നു. 2012 ജനുവരി 22ന് സണ്‍ഡേശാലോമിനോട് അദേഹം പറഞ്ഞത് ജീവിതത്തില്‍ പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനയിലൂടെ ലഭിച്ച അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് മാത്രമായിരുന്നു. അദേഹം പറഞ്ഞ വാക്കുകള്‍ ഒരിക്കല്‍ക്കൂടി കുറിക്കട്ടെ.. ദൈവത്തോട് ചേര്‍ന്ന് നില്‍ക്കാന്‍ ഈ വാക്കുകള്‍ നമ്മെ പ്രചോദിപ്പിക്കുമെന്ന് തീര്‍ച്ച.…
